We offer a 30 minute free initial consultation in order for you to ask any questions you may have and for you to get a good understanding of the process of garden design. This also gives us an opportunity to discuss briefly what you would like to achieve in your garden.

Concept Plan & Mood Boards

We will come out to visit you and your garden, taking a thorough brief of what you would like to achieve, and the level of investment you are looking to make. We have formulated a questionnaire to assist with gathering the information, which we will go through together over a cup of tea, to make sure we fully understand your goal.
Cost £150

The site survey is the very foundation of the design process. This ensures that we have accurate measurements of the boundaries, property, and all of the existing main features of the garden (sheds, paths, trees, drainage etc). Depending on the size and shape of your garden, we may need to enlist a professional surveyor to carry this out – we will arrange this for you should this be the case.
Cost £200 - £1500

We will draw an accurate plan of your garden. From this we produce 2 concept plans – giving you lots of ideas of what the garden could look like and what the main features might be. The concept plan is where we focus primarily on the overall layout and making sure we meet your brief. We also use mood boards to show how we imagine the garden to look and feel. At this stage we can touch on construction and material choices.

Additional Services

If you are wanting to employ a professional landscaper to construct the garden, you will require a layout plan. This is a much more detailed drawing of the agreed concept plan that gives the landscaper enough information to accurately price and build the garden. This includes further details of material choices, construction of major features within the design such as water features & steps, elevations (2D drawings of the garden from ground level) and also drainage and lighting plans.
Cost £1000 - £2000

This drawing shows you and the landscaper which plants go where. We also produce a plant schedule which tells the nursery how many of each of the plants you will require (with the fancy Latin names too!).
Cost £250 - £1000

We also assist with sourcing professional BALI registered landscapers, plants from fantastic trade nursery partners, trees from our trusted trade tree suppliers, and any hard landscaping materials you require. This work, along with site monitoring (liaising with the landscaper during the build) is chargeable on a time basis at the rates shown below.
