James has a 20 year background in agriculture, having managed the family farm in Manea, Cambridgeshire with his father and brother and more recently his sister. Whilst still involved with the running of the family business, James has turned his attention to a lifelong passion of his - garden design.
James graduated with distinction from the world-renowned English Gardening School in Chelsea, London. The school is situated in one of the oldest botanical gardens in the UK, the Chelsea Physic Garden, with founder and principal - legendary garden designer, RHS show judge, and writer Rosemary Alexander at the helm. James is a Graduate Member of the Society of Garden Designers.
James lives with his fiancée Ashlie and their daughter. In his rare spare time, James enjoys visiting gardens, travel, clay pigeon shooting and watching rugby.
